Name: Carter Patrick Murphy DOB: January 13, 1984 Hometown: Manhattan, NY Current residence: Las Vegas, NV Family: Elizabeth and Sean Murphy (parents), 1 brother, 2 sisters. Job: Model for independent clothing lines, freelance web designer, photographer Pets: cat, Zooey; dog, Nico; and 2 gold fish, Mary Jane and Morgan. Facebook
• Carter was born to Elizabeth and Sean Murphy in Manhattan, NY. Both parents had jobs which required them working long hours, leaving Carter and his siblings at home most of the time by themselves or with a babysitter.
• When he was 16, he became a Pescetarian, which is a vegetarian who still eats fish. Sushi is one of his favorite things to eat and he doesn't see himself giving it up any time soon.
• By the time Carter was 18, he was ready to get out of the house and move away. He picked up and left New York, moving to San Francisco, CA to attend the Academy of Art University. 2 years later, he had an Associate's and moved into an apartment the size of a shoe box in Fremont.
• At age 20, he worked several odd jobs, trying to make rent while being able to make a name for himself in graphic and web design. He began doing odd modeling jobs for independent companies. He also began playing guitar, writing and performing songs for coffee houses and small cafes and venues.
• In his free time, he got himself into volunteering. He would dedicate some time each week to the local SPCA and worked certain events for homeless, nursing homes, schools, and always wanted to help out those less fortunate than him.
• By 22, he was able to cut down on odd jobs and spend more time with graphic and web design. He had a name for himself and was offered a contracted job in Knoxville, TN, which lasted for about a year. He remained in the area for a little while longer before beginning his venture up the coast.
• In Salisbury, MD, he rented a room with a bunch of University students while he worked on his graphic and web design more. He would still get offered jobs for independent companies, developing a name/face for himself with independent clothing companies. Between modeling, web design, and coffee houses, he had no need for odd jobs anymore.
• After so many modeling shoots, Carter picked up a few things here and there in Photography. One of his roommates at the college house was taking some Photography courses and she and Carter spent a lot of mornings trying to catch the perfect sunrise or the perfect lighting for any miscellaneous thing.
• Not one to stay in any specific place for too long, Carter left his room in Salisbury, picked up and moved back to the west coast, residing in Las Vegas. He is currently contracted as a web designer for a local company that pays him to work from home 4 days per week and in the office just one. He is renting a 2 bedroom apartment with marlena and emmalewis.
